La carrozza letti Ub 3951 è una delle prime unità ad essere trasformata con un singolo vestibolo già nel dicembre del
1965; si tratta di un’unità della serie 3933 – 3962 costruite nel 1950 dalla Compagnie des Entreprises Industrielles Cha-
rentaises, facilmente riconoscibili per il filo inferiore della cassa che copre il telaio. Questa carrozza ha prestato servizio
dapprima nel parco francese, poi in Austria ed infine in Germania, operando quasi sempre su treni internazionali.
